MY BACKGROUND
Hi, I’m Kael Balizer, an Ayurvedic Doctor–Level Certified (ADLC) and EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) practitioner with over 30 years of experience supporting whole-person healing. My work integrates ancient wisdom and somatic awareness, honoring the deep interconnection between body, mind, spirit, emotions, and the nervous system.
After receiving my degree in pre-medical biology from New Mexico State University, I attended the New Mexico School of Natural Therapeutics where I was introduced to Ayurveda. Pursuing this interest, I went on to study at the Ayurvedic Institute and in India with renowned Vaidya, Dr. Vasant Lad. I founded Life In Balance Ayurvedic Rejuvenation Center in 2002 and have taught Ayurveda throughout Washington, including at Bastyr University.
In Ayurveda, the word for health is Svastha; to be established in or return to oneself. Through my own personal journey, I have found this is key to one’s deepest transformation. I partner with my clients, walking alongside them on a gentle path of remembering their wholeness, calming the nervous system, and reconnecting with their body’s natural rhythms.
I began integrating EFT into my practice in 2006 as a way to gently and directly reach the emotional root of an issue where true and lasting healing often begins. Like Ayurveda, EFT is a self-healing tool that honors the body’s wisdom and natural capacity to heal.
Through decades of clinical practice and self-inquiry, I have become deeply attuned to the subtle emotional and energetic landscape of others. I hold a grounded, steady space where clients feel seen, met, and safe enough for deep healing to unfold.
Through one-on-one sessions, group programs, and seasonal offerings, I create space to listen inward, come home to yourself, and harmonize your rhythms with nature and your own true nature, cultivating self-acceptance, joy, restful sleep, vitality, healthy digestion, and hormonal balance
.
I live on Vashon Island with my family and find nourishment in nature, movement, sound, music, laughter, and the simple pleasure of preparing and sharing food in good company.
